This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you use Walgreens pharmacy on a regular basis, there are some changes happening that you might want to know about.  For years, Walgreens and Express Scripts have been partners, but recently that partnership has dissolved leaving lots of Walgreens patrons in the lurch.  Those whose coverage includes Express Scripts will now have to go elsewhere to be covered with their prescriptions.  If you are one of those people, check with your insurance because not all Express Scripts coverage will be effected.

Sadly, one of Express Scripts clients is Tricare, which is the health and drug program for military families. Even though Walgreens had the foresight to guarantee that their prices would match or beat all the other pharmacies prices in the Tricare network, Express Scripts rejected their offer.

In an effort to ease the transition, Walgreens is offering a special discount for the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens.  This is a great way to help those without prescription coverage.  Right now, individuals can enroll for only five dollars a person.  And the best part is that there is no risk involved. If you  don't save more than the cost of your membership, Walgreens will refund the difference.

To get more information and to stay up to date on Walgreens updates and special offers, be sure to follow   Walgreens on Facebook or follow Walgreens on Twitter.
